SNUM now supports the Google Social Graph API. SNUM uses google to find the related social network sites of a given url.
The dandyId api is used first, but if nothing is found, google is called. This greatly improves the coverage and use of the tool.
Google’s results can vary and are dependent on the social network sites implementing the protocols correctly. So it still better to define your own identity (through a service such as dandyId), than rely on Google.
What dandyId also provides (and might be implemented in a future SNUM release), is the ability to prove your identity. See dandyId’s Identity Verification feature.
